Rich, chocolatey, delicious: I love this hot cocoa as a special treat! My mom has been making it for years & so I'd thought I'd share her secret recipe!
Here it is:
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
5 1/2 cups fat-free milk
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1(14-ounce)can fat-free sweetened condensed milk
1(cinnamon stick (optional)
1.Place cocoa in a crock pot.
2.Gradually add milk, stirring with a whisk until well blended then add vanilla and sweetened condensed milk.
3.Stir until well blended. Add cinnamon stick if desired. Cover with lid; cook on low- heat setting 4 to 8 hours or high setting for @ 2 hours. Add marshmallows to cup and enjoy.
